In 'N' Out, Northampton

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

It is single storey steel framed and clad building approximately 300m2. There is a service pit within the building. The service walls and floors are constructed from reinforced concrete. A steel cofferdam surrounds the pit to prevent water ingress. The floor consists of a power-floated reinforced concrete slab supported on 14 piles. Within the building is a range of specialist equipment associated with the service and MoT testing of vehicles. Externally there is an access/egress road with car parking spaces provided.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Broham Forecourts were the principal contractor and package contractor for the sub-structure and co-ordinated other trade packages (frame and envelope, M&E installation, architectural fit out and finishes, and specialists installation) appointed by the client. Broham Forecourts appointed domestic sub-contractors for the installation of the cofferdam and piles, asphalt paving and line marking.
